Description
The title says it all really. The field and the fence were near where I lived in northern California. Quail are the cutest critters. Usually there were babies running all over the place but not that day. This was a group of adult quail, looking for food and socializing. The fence was old and falling apart and may well have been where the babies were hiding. The mountains in northern California can be the most amazing blue color and they were that day. The grass was dried up and golden. The combination of colors and critters was too good not to paint.
