Description
This barn in southern West Virginia is one I drove past year after year on my way to an arts festival. Each time I felt I should pull over and at least sketch it. I finally did. The next year it was gone. The original is watercolor on 100 lb. Arches paper with a very nice texture.

Hi Terry, Thank you so much for your comments on the barn painting. Yes, I did grow up in Morgantown, WV. I've lived all over since then and in fact came back to Morgantown in the 1980's and managed the Morgantown Public Library until 1986. I still love Morgantown and visit old friends up there about once a year but work took me to northern California. Long story short, we eventually ended up in Athens, GA. You'd be amazed at the number of people I've met over the years who had Morgantown connections. Definitely a small world. I am the worst with names, did we have classes together?
